Anyone done their grill with this? Think it might be the answer to mod my Original Beenie Mark
Remember its only an obsession....
Mods:
Original Beanie Narpy Grill, Black lettering, De-Tango'ed, Side steps, Hids LEDs upgrade, Halo DRL, Smoked side repeaters, D4 Bluetooth upgrade, Flacks magic with the fault mate, Upgraded D4 compressor, ERG's blanked, Tints, D4 rear lights, Short rails & cross bars, LR Ladder. Crost you read my mind...
Think I'm going to try it at home seeing as weather is rubbish I can do it inside. Worst case I just peel it off Missplaced African
I'm away for the next 10 days so cannot order it to try out. I just want to darken the surround and cover a few scratches

Surround is Java black, insert is matt plastidip (originally silver). I like the look and it seems to be holding up ok.

How well would this stuff hold up to a bit of off roading. Particularly the wheel arches.
Nice one Robbo, mind made up. Will order a can next week for a play next weekend when I'm back. Mark

Plastidip holds up very well. It won't come off just by brushing against a bush, but scraping a sharp, heavy rock probably will peel it off, just like it would damage any paint job. Plastidip can be touched up though. There's a couple of videos on youtube showing the "touching up" process.Dennis

think I may have a go on the arches. Would also like to do the trim at the bottom of the windscreen with the wipers on, don't know what it's called. Is this easy to get off. I take it they do gloss and matt finishers.
Cheers

Raw plastidip is always matt but they have a glossifier which you spray over the plastidip to give it a glossy finish if you want. Dennis
