Nighthawk, thanks for this image!

Got a Buck Blue as well and looking at Plasti Dipping some parts.
But instead of black I think I will go for gunmetal grey or charcoal.

Now at least I know how it looks in black.

More pics of plastidipped bits in my gallery...

I'm away for the next 10 days so cannot order it to try out. I just want to darken the surround and cover a few scratches

Very Happy Surround is Java black, insert is matt plastidip (originally silver). I like the look and it seems to be holding up ok.

How well would this stuff hold up to a bit of off roading. Particularly the wheel arches.

Cheers

Plastidip holds up very well. It won't come off just by brushing against a bush, but scraping a sharp, heavy rock probably will peel it off, just like it would damage any paint job. Plastidip can be touched up though. There's a couple of videos on youtube showing the "touching up" process.

Thumbs Up think I may have a go on the arches. Would also like to do the trim at the bottom of the windscreen with the wipers on, don't know what it's called. Is this easy to get off. I take it they do gloss and matt finishers.

Cheers

Raw plastidip is always matt but they have a glossifier which you spray over the plastidip to give it a glossy finish if you want. Thumbs Up

Has anyone done the scuttle panel?
