Plastic Spare Wheel Cover

Hi,

I know a while ago someone on here was selling plastic covers that fitted over the under slung spare wheel to make it a little less unsightly, I think they also had a Disco4.com sticker on them.

Does anyone know if these are still available?

Thanks,

Seems daft to me to have something that is cosmetic that no one will see. Do you have an RLD wheel
protector? Far more important.

I’ve got one somewhere . No good to me now D4 gone, used it on my D3, kept wheel clean and dry, never tried it on my D4 because of plastic wheel guard, will have a look if interested

Yes, got the wheel protector but the cover was also to stop mud, dirt etc damaging the wheel, thought the guys name was Graham.

RLD = Uncle Ray

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/spare-wheel-protector-31159.html

An essential bit of kit.

If you are worried about dirt & mud, which get on wheels when in use, then simply wrap in a plastic bag; not worth the effort IMHO.

But you can see it! - just like you and everyone else including thieves can, what do you prefer to see half a full size spare or a black hard plastic shaped cover?
A thief ain’t going to grovel under a car trying to remove a cover to see what is inside when he can see what is under another another one from 30 yards away!
The RLD protector plate as good as they are does not hide the spare from prying eyes or protect it from the weather.
