Hi there,
Collecting my new D3 car next week and I was wondering if I can (cleanly) remove the plastic strips that run down the middle of the doors. Just prefer the look without them, but wasn't sure if they're removal would leave any holes etc. Anyone tried to do this before?
Cheers!

As far as I know, these are just stuck on with the worlds strongest glue.
There are a few threads on here about taking off the Land Rover badge at the front using dental floss.
I'm guessing that you could use the same method to get the strips off.
Have a search around, because the same threads also mentioned some products that will get the glue residue off too.

I am certain that you will find that they are stuck on, they were on my 2006 D3 now gone.

I've actually just purchased a set for my D4 as the wife's car has just come out of the repair shop after some kind soul put a hefty dent into the driver's door at the local supermarket (and drove off ).
Got to agree they're not the most aesthetic looking accessory but it's function over form for me........and they glue on. 13 D4 HSE Santorini Black
