A-plan insurance thanks just had a quote from you a good deal a good saving made from any of the comparison site insurers and direct line , and landrover insurance I don't know how you are in business !!

I wish I could say the same ! I was told by A plan last week that my D3 was too old and they did not have any deals for Landrovers of that age

A Plan Thatcham or just your local office?

quirks of insurance I spoke to Aplan Thatcham and they wanted a tracker and the car to be garaged and couldn't get anything less than £2k 
Direct line under £500 for the same car

I just got the number from this page and rang them don't know if it was thatcham or not , but I got quoted nearly £100 cheaper than current insurer and nearly £200 less that all the main stream ones ! And direct line were over a grand D3 Java black HSE now gone

I just renewed my 11year old 193k D3 with mods, remap and facelift no problem. I got a great quote and great service. Very happy.  New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Yes you need to specifically request the Thatcham office.
I contact them direct and got told they couldn't give me a quote. After PMing A-Plan via this forum they gave me a very competative quote.
Only thing I would say of them is don't expect an instant quote, it'll take a few working hours.
