Hello
Merry Xmas, and Happy New and all that good stuff for 2020...
I fitted the Cooper ATT just before Xmas, and so far I am rather happy with them. Very "plane Jane" looking side wall, but the tread looks great.
There is a subtle hummm but not intrusive, and no more noisy than the Scorpion ATR's I just removed. The ride is good as far as an off road tire is concerned, especially if I compare it to the Scorpion ATR. The tires walls are hard though so you do feel a bump or two every now and then.
I have towed the boat with them, pulled myself off the beach with boat in tow and went bashing in the bush. On a gravel rutted road they feel fantastic. Tomorrow I have a 700km drive via the Drakensberg, and the Windy App forecast is for some heavy rain and storms in the afternoon coming back from Underberg. Will be nice to see what the consumption is and will report back.
So so far I am happy with them, and thought I would share Pic or two.

Hi Robsta,
What size rims are you running?
I need new tyres on my SA Disco, as my current BFG AT's are getting worn and would maybe look at Coopers.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

Hello
Running standard 19”.
Got the tyres from Broadway tyres in Durban North. “Cooper agents”
They did the alignment as well and never been better.

Thanks Boet.
I'm running 18 inch rims and the Disco is currently in JHB, so I'll have a look around there in a couple of months , when I'm back through that way.

Ok. When I looked in Nov last year when I got to JHB from Zam, average price then was around 2700 ZAF.
But with the kak going on and the average exchange rate sounds actually a good price!!
The Disco is in storage for now... I've a busy year with the running the two between ZA and England!

Yes. Crazy times
Last 4 months I have been working with the Zambian Airforce, Mozambique president with the elections, and been into Gweru, Zim and Zim is desperate.
Even the handlers I use in Bulawayo were in tears about all the problems they are having there.
On a side note. The 19” only comes in the size the LR uses. But it’s the same with all tires for the Discovery 19” tires, and you end up paying a bit more for them. Had the same with the other brands last time roundPreviously Freelander II

So I said the forecast was for some rain today on my drive.

At least I can confirm the hail did little damage and tires handled very nicely. Very happy overallPreviously Freelander II
