IIRC there are two styles of clips, genuine ones being coloured white and yellow and they fit in specific locations ... I'm sure someone who's has done it will clarify. Or tell me I'm wrong. .

YouTube has videos from both LRTimes and PowerfulUK showing the fitting of a snorkel including pulling off that cover.
As well as the fixing studs the PowerfulUK seems to show a moulded pin at the bottom that they managed to snap off.
Quite common for that to snap if the trim has been removed before and the pin has been bent while trying to refit everything the last time. Once it's bent, straightening it to refit the trim weakens it further and it tends to catch when you take the trim off again.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
