A Pillar Duct Tape.
Dealer fixed water leak on the passenger side, shortly afterwards, my right A Pillar trim came off on the highway at 70mph. Luckily it was held in place by the bonnet.
I noticed duct tape on the upper portion of the A Pillar. Is this how the dealer sealed the leak? is there any reason why they should be duct tape on my vehicle? Mrs. Flowner is fuming .
The same think happened to me. Replaced the windscreen to fix the leak. Then at highway speed - in a downpour, the left exterier pillar trim came off, but stayed connected flapping the breeze. Scared the out of me.
The dealer replaced it and now it is fine.David
