| Pickup imminent - Questions |

Hi Guys,
Apologies if this seems like a dim question, but due to pick up my D4 HSE any day now and obviously want to check that all options are present and correct on the vehicle as ordered. There should be no doubt that the car will have all options exactly as ordered, but usually like to have a visual check of my own before I drive away from the dealer. However, there are two options I'm not so sure it's easy to check are fitted visually.
1. Full size spare
2. Adaptive headlights
Any visual cues to be sure these are fitted on initial pickup?

Full size spare is slung under the rear of the D4... you will see if just by looking under the rear. Will be mounted with the inside of the wheel facing down (depth easy to tell)
Adaptive's will do a little dance when switched on, so again you will see this happen very easily as long as you are either in front when someone turns them on, or have the D4 facing a wall (or some such) so you can see the lights reflecting.
Thing you have to really check for though... is your face is well moisturised.
Once you start grinning you will understand why

The "dance" on the D4 is less pronounced than the D3.
However, the easiest way to tell is to turn them on and drive in the dark.....not least, as the cornering lamps will light too.

hi regarding spare get underneath and check it, if its a black steel rim it is a narrow temporary tyre,there is no full size steel rim for a D4 ,I was assured my D4 had a full size spare ,when I got it home I found it had the temporary spare.also when collecting vehicle and before settlig the bill, check that the load cover,locking wheel nut,hand book.jack floor mats in fact anything that is loose and can go missing,once you have paid up the niggling problems are harder to resolve. This also applies when buying a low mileage demonstrator loose items do tend to go missing.
