Picking it up next week

Hi All
I also got a call from my dealer late last week to say my order is ready for collection on Wednesday of next week - not bad as the order date was 4th Sept.
D4 HSE in Stornoway with a few extras Mr. Green .
Nicest xmas pressie ever!

Anything that I need to be aware of or look out for when picking it up? any advice greatly appreciated.

Ian, if the dealer handing over the new vehicle knows their stuff - its well worth while getting them to give you a very full handover briefing. There are lots of new tricks the HSE can do (or old tricks that it does differently) which can take a lot of working out. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

I know - I know. My advice was definitely in the "old sensible geezer" category.

On reflection - I suggest you do what we did - which was to just get the car - have a quick check that its what you paid for and is in tip top nick - take keys and drive off - start enjoying. You will then have much fun with trial and error working out all of the gadgets and gizzmos.
