| Picked up...and first 550 miles! |

I just picked up my Disco4 this morning, and didi a trip form Milan to Naples (about 550 miles).
First impressions:
What I like
- very, very confortbale and silent
- powerful engine
- good gearbox (often used with command shift)
- great Hi Fi Harman Kardon Premium system
- navigation suystem is ok, but a bit complicated at first
What I don't like:
- Only 25 mpg, not so bad (always on the highway at about 140 km/h), but not good as promised
- When I answer a call from bluetooth phone just pressing the button on the steering wheel (iPhone), sometimes it speaks from the phone, sometimes from the car, but I don'yt know why! (please Help!)
- suspensions too soft!

I'm picking mine up next week so will compare then, but I would expect the MPG to initially be below what they stated as average because it'll take time for everything to bed in properly, at least a few 1,000 miles. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I'm pleased to report that my car is now returning 28-30mpg after 4,500 miles after initially only doing 22-24mpg.

Have a look at this thread - it's down to the current iPhone firmware not playing nice with the LR. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I did a trip from Bristol to Manchester on Monday and back on Tuesday and Averaged 32MPG...  . I have now done just over 1000 miles...However I was up to then only getting 24-25....
So best keep resetting trip A before your journey to get results....

1200 miles done...fuel consumption is slowly decreasing , I'm at about 25.5 mpg, always very satisfied by the Disco!
