Ok, brave boy checked the TCM again. A few weeks back I checked and all looked ok. Probably I need glasses not only for driving Big Cry




Little corrosion found nowadays, but can this be the root cause of my fault messages?

How can I check the TCM is knackered or not? Achim

own garage certified LR tech

Disco 2 TD5 MY 2001 - gone but still driven by another owner
Defender 110 TD5 driving me bananas with all faults
Disco 3 TDV 6 HSE MY 2005 gone @280.000 km
Disco 4 SDV 6 HSE MY 2012

That is a possibility. The green stuff insulates the connection so a good clean is required and then add dielectric grease to make it future proof.

Not sure on that but I would clean both connector and module, plug it all back up and see whether the problem has gone

Have cleaned it as well as connectors but fault is coming back.

Can I buy any 2nd Hand TCM and reprogram it? Or does it need to have the same numbers and letters?

NNW 505 090 and GSDB code CKL7A Bosch 1137328137

Well, before asking dumb questions ask google....

GSDB code seems to be „global supplier data base“, nothing related to the car specs.

Remains the other indications. Nobody has a clue? Achim
