BP/Chris - welcome and congrats on the purchase. I have only had my TDV6 SE for a few months now and am - not having owned a 4wd before it has dawned on me that my first 4wd may actually be the best 4wd in the world. This site is wicked.
Have done a couple of off-roading courses to learn the basics but seemed to have to wait for all the toyotas, nissans and holdens to be rescued from mud, sand etc the whole time.
PierreJ, et al I am also in Perth - would be up for a get together at sometime to head out for some weekend fun with other D3 owners - I am seeing more and more on the road round town lately.

I'd be interested in a Perth 'D3' day out - there's a few places close by that would suit a day trip.
Cheers,

They did get some in but not many. It would be interesting to see how they compare to the General grabbers.
They are only 110H load rating. I think this is too low.

The Oz load rating is 109 as per the tyre placard therefore 110 is legal. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.
Audi TT Roadster (Daily and around town drive)

You are correct - the recommended is higher, which is the previous number I read. It clearly states 109 is the minimum.
