I've tried searching but can't find the answer to this....
On a 2012 D4, which colour wire in the left boot cubby hole is the permanent live for the tow electrics?

If it is the same set up as the towing electrics on the D3 , then in the left hand side cubby, there should be a thickish solid purple wire amongst the loom for the towing socket, this was the permanent live for me to tap into for my dog crate light.
Though the above may be completely irrelevant for a D4  Procrastination is the thief of time!!

When I read the thread title I thought JonM had been kicked out of his house. 
You can sleep in the boot of a Disco, but I wouldn't want to permanently live in one. 
I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
