Performance flash files for the BBS MSV2 and there install |
|
As many of you are aware ive been working with the BBS team to make it possibile to tune your car using the MSV2 kit of which today is a special day as its available to the MSV2 owners on the BBS forum.
Files can be pruchased direct from BBS from there web shop in the accessories section for the TDV6 TDV8 Puma and more very soon
To use this function you need to add files made by me to your MSV2 server ready for flashing to your car and in some cases i need to send more than one file that must be in more than one folder, which can very soon become hard to understand etc etc.
So ive sat down today and made an installer for these files so all you do is receive your email from me , double click the installer and all the files i need you to have are installed in the correct location
Please can some of you please test this and tell me what operating system you are using so i can make sure all systems are ok with the installer ?
Here is the link to a test version on my web site ready for download.
www.bellautoservices.co.uk/BAS-MSV2-File-Installer.msi
All this will do is install a folder on C:\BAS MSV2 Files\TEST.txt with a file inside called Just a test installer.txt
It can be deleted after the install has completed because the .txt file is empty and is just for demonstration purposes only.
Pete

Its working here on vista thanks for changing the install location
For those that are interested the transfer of the actual tune file is a simple process and was applied without fault. It only takes around 2-3mins to apply or remove permagrin

So does this mean that even if Mr LR Dealer wipes teh engine ECU, that you'd just re-apply the files you sent through using the Faultemate? Bodsys Brake Bible
