You might find that they don't get done. There has been a long running court case near here where a neighbour kicked a Yorkshire Terrier to death with one kick, the RSPCA investigated but as death was instant they said no cruelty had been committed.
The RSPCA have taken the body away for examination, you are legally able to kill a deer with a knife or .240 calibre rifle or higher, but in most cases not a shotgun - but I bet the law doesn't specify this.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

couldnt we use any method thats not legal on animals for the perpetrators that do this sort of thing; send them over here we have few guys that would be glad to see them; and SWMBO keeps telling me she has/can find the right connections to the right sort of people.
and that scares me not to upset her Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
