My D3 had 45500 miles on the clock at the end of the 15000 miles per annum Land Rover Freedom agreement, the finance company wanted to charge me for an extra 500 miles, I pointed out the finance payments were 1 payment + 35 payments and a final payment giving a 37 month agreement. I argued that this entitled me to do 46250 miles over 3 years and 1 month and they cancelled the charges.
I was offered less than my final payment as a trade in so handed the car back and got adiscount off a new car with no trade in!

Exactly my position, except I'm about 9000 miles over  Never even bothered looking at the mileage before, as they've never bothered with it at trade-in Disco 5 HSE Lux
