Hi all,
Noticed over the last few days that when I select reverse, and the PDC activates, I get an intermittent beep, even when there is nothing behind me. It happened more readily this morning, and I noticed the screen showing there warning on the drivers rear, so I took a look. Sensor looks like the coating is coming off, maybe water ingress too. I guess this is covered by my AUC warranty, but wanted to know if this is a common issue? I will push for them to replace all rear sensors, but I doubt they will unless there is a clear fault.
Given it is intermittent, I am also wondering if they will replace based on the visual inspection showing the coating is breaking down/water ingress.
Any advice?
