Park Brake Noise

Right, Ever Since I took the 4WD with some mates up to Levuka the 4WD on occasions (Disco 3 V8 HSE) has been making a Censored unbearable screaming noise when trying to apply the park brake....

Whats the go with it?

It's going in for a service this week anyway... Just thought I'd get some online opinions...

Had the same issue for a couple of weeks, although it was intermittent. Then one day, just refused to disengage. So I dug out the manual and manually disengaged. Whistle
Took it to the dealer last week. System had logged the failure as handbrake out of adjustment, the dealer adjusted and tested. All done under warranty.
The dealer said that they now check adjustment at every service (this dealer is a different branch of the one I normally use for servicing).

Nice to see that they have now started to follow the standard LR service procedure Whistle

If it has got full of mud or bulldust it will need a clean as well as an adjustment.
Adjustment only fixed mine.
