Park brake bedding cycle doesn’t end.

I’m doing the park brake bedding in cycle, but it’s supposed to end after 10 goes.
I’ve done maybe 15 now and it’s still flashing.
Any thoughts?

Cheers

Jim

You have to stay strictly within the prescribed speed window! When applied is it bringing you to a dead stop at very low speed? Is it holding the vehicle when stopped, ie doing what its supposed to?
If yes, then you're probably OK. Cycle the ign again and drive til it cools down. Then on a safe and quiet road check operation again, it should hold against any attempt to move off. Bear in mind it may not yet be fully bedded in.

Hi and thanks for the reply
I was going up to 25 and applying the brake till it came to a stop. It was locking and releasing to get there but that’s shoes I guess?
Complete stop every time then 1m+ wait till the next time.
I know I didn’t except the limit as the info always showed the test in progress.

When I finally gave in I sent to 30 and it cancelled the test so it was deffo still in test mode.

The brake holds the car ok. Should I try it again dya think?

If it holds when you slip the clutch in first (don't touch throttle) it should be OK. You can always do another bedding in if you're not satisfied. It will improve on its own over time as well.
