Park brake

It's only a minor nigglebut when I release the park brake and drive off I get squeeling noises. Sometimes not too bad but other times people stop and look. As I'm the shy retiring type has anybody any bright ideas.

It is possibly adjustment or a piece of grit lodged in. Good old dealer visit should stop it in minutes.

Had the same intermittently. Sorted at service with an adjustment.

Thanks for the info. No doubt it will help to bump up the 1st service cost.

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

I reported this last week to dealer and there is a bulletin saying to fit a new set of shoes with modified clips etc, these have been ordered. As they are on back order (ie with manufacturer) not sure how long they will be. Will let you know if it fixes it.
