rsp wrote:I also have the need to reduce the number of scratches from travelling down overgrown tracks and was wondering which of the various Zaino produces was recommended to reduce scratching. From what I can see the most likely one seems to be Zinao Z2 Pro? It also seems that Zaino ZFX Flash Curing Additive would help.
If you are trying to get rid of existing scratches use either Z-5 or the new Z-PC Fusion.
Z2 is the final layer from what I remember, built up with several coats.
The ZFX curing additive vastly cuts down the time needed between coats.
I swear by Zaino.
The grande finale spray is also excellent.
Give the distributor in your country a call and they will be able to give you the exact advice that you require.
Also Zaino.com is a good source of instructions. Zermatt silver 06 reg.

How many Supagard sponges would I need for a D3? I guess all the exterior vinyl parts would need to be masked with tape perhaps.
Also I've heard you can't jet wash the vehicle at all, only hose off, and that certain shampoos can't be used hence the provision of Supagards own shampoo!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you are going to use Supagard 1 sponge will do.
IMHO Diamondbrite is better, takes a bit more doing but is more durable.
Zaino is the best stuff I have ever found and I have tried lot's incl both of the above.
Have fun
PS. I am on the look out for a friendly American forum member to post me over some Zaino as it is under half the price over there Zermatt silver 06 reg.

I've seen the Diamondbrite, but one thing worries me. There are two stages to the application, the pre-glaze and then the glaze. If I was to apply these with a cotton cloth such as Autoglym's, I would get little flecks of cotton all over the bodywork.
I may be wrong but would these 'stick' to sealant and be embedded in the finish?!

Perhaps the guy over at toughseal/eurochem might want to step in and comment on his product over the ones you all have mentioned.... JL Martin

Settled for the Diamondbrite application after Cliff H's recommendation, I wasn't disappointed.
It took me around 6 hours to do, I doubled the amount of time to allow the finish to 'cure', and hey presto!
The package cost me £25....
Absolute bargain for an unbelievable finish!

If you go on their website it would be worth getting a bottle of the conserver it is good to use every so often to keep up the beeding.
Don't buy their shampoo though, any normal one is fine. Zermatt silver 06 reg.
