Yep all Land Rover car registrations start with "o" (Oxford area).
All the test mules start with "y" (Leeds area) never worked out why tho.

We have an OV Freelander 61 plate, originally owned by LR.
Anyone know what they would have used it for. 2600 miles in 2 years.

Strictly speaking, these are Land Rover Management cars, not Manager’s cars.
As Management cars, they are purely managed by Land Rover. Some of them will then be driven by staff, but a lot will then be “managed” by Land Rover as they are used as Press Hacks, LR Assist loan cars, LR Experience cars or they may be leased to rental companies. Who would buy a used car with “Hertz” as the previous owner? But who would give it a second thought as a LR “Management” car?
This is not unique to LR. 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

Land Rover cars as stated 99% start with an O...those in the know can spot a staff car a mile off...staff cars are either employees above a grade or just normal LR fleet cars
Bit like a white O car low mileage is highly likely to be an experience car Mike
