Oval Timer & FBH Not Firing

As the cold weather has been -15 here my fbh will not fire up.
Last year i fitted the oval timer which is a great piece of kit but now fbh wont fire up. I have done the usual things like pulling fuses and also replaced battery with bigger RRS battery.

when i use instant flame with timer i can here the fbh clicking away but does not fire also fbh does not work with car as it takes ages to heat up and exhaust is not getting warm.

I was also going to purchase a Faultmate Fcr to try but i think i read somewhere that if i have the timer that clears the faults is this true and can anyone help thanks.

Check the instructions with the timer for resetting info Thumbs Up

Is it trying to fire at all? If so, try blowing down the air intake to help it along Thumbs Up

"pressing the instant butt on the timer and then removing the fuse next to the battery (29 i think) and repeating this 3 times after that it fired up "

If you can hear it clicking then its locked out ! , lift bonnet , remove fuse box lid, locate fuse, open passenger window (Close Doors! Do not open the doors)
wait for the handbrake light to go out then reach in to press fire button, wait 3-4 seconds then remove the fuse, keep doing this 3-4 times and it should/will fire back up.

Good Luck Thumbs Up

Clicking is the solenoid pump in the chassis rail - perfectly normal isn't it?

Think I'm getting somewhere removing fuse after pressing flame has started the heater but it only lasts a few mins then blows out but I used a hairdryer on cold setting to blow through filter and it lasted about 20 mins but then still blows out I have did this all day I'll keep doing it tomorrow as well and hopefully it will clear it also worked on car alone.
Another thing when I used dryer to blow through lots of soot fell out exhaust hope this is it clearing.
Thanks guys for your help.

Also check there's no mud stuck in the exhaust.

Keep at it. Took mine from 100% unreliable to 100% reliable with persistence! Thumbs Up Might just have to burn through a load of gunk Thumbs Up

The clicking from under the car is normal that is the fuel pump, but if you can hear it from the FBH then its locked out!

Starting to get worried now as the amount of White smoke that is still coming out is getting out of hand. I think if I left it on the street the fire brigade would rip my bonnet up thinking it was on fire.
Should there still be White smoke after a good few hours of running.

Depends on how much fuel is in there to burn, should only blow white smoke for a few minutes.

sounds like its over fueling to me, or the fan is not working,

enquire to see if there a webasto dealer near you (most of todays trucks have webastos fitted as night heaters so ther dotted around all over the country) they should be able to plug in to it to diagnose if there is a fault.
