Friend has one and says its very good. I bought this one and it is brilliant (so far) from halfrauds, but look at the second link as well to the Outwell

Not used that box and the Halfords price is pretty keen but it depends what you want to use it for and then look at the specs.
The ability to chill to [(ambient temp)-18 deg C] may not be enough for some environments. When these figures are quoted it is with the box out of direct sunshine. Sunshine can knock nearly 10 deg C of the published performance. This is more than adequate for camping use but you can become unstuck when using it in a car.
Car temp in the UK can get way above 30 deg C on a cool summer day and in recent weather you will see figures way above this. If the box is even partially in sunshine on a warm or hot day then the fridge will turn milk into a different product very quickly.
The (much) more expensive car fridges tackle the sunshine issue with an insulated bag and the high ambient temperatures with a more powerful cooler. If your need is to keep things cool when conducting shortish journeys with the box in air condition comfort it will work very well for a very good price (I use a similar one for these purposes). If you intend leaving the car for a while then the box will start to cook and will then struggle to chill back down.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

d3mad, good find and looks better value for money and will suit my propose for the journey up to the Highlands I think . But I agree totally with Robbie's comments also on the more expensive models being better suited for use in the car on hot days due to insulation I need to just check if the 24L will stand up in the space behind the third row seats as my current one is just a tad too deep.On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. I agree with Robbie and you do get what you pay for. We decided on the Halfrauds one as it will be used occasionally and our weather is not usually this warm!
With loads of goodies that D3 needs (she is desperate for a winch), it was a budget buy for best at the time. Hope you get the one you need and enjoy it.
Ours has been so useful and encouraged us to take food to events or horse shows, rather than buy cardboard burgers while we are there.2 x D3's (Twins)
