Once again it makes me think that if I'm going have a accident in anything I'd rather have it in the Disco.
How many vehicles would you be able to open the front doors on after a hit like that.

That's exactly why I bought my first Disco ... driving M60 ( M63 when I started !! ) daily for 16 years, saw too many mangled cars on the road. Figured that the "flat out to avoid the other drivers" approach in the Fiat Panda wouldn't work forever.

Having taken a D3 into trees at 50mph I can attest to the ability of the D3 to take a hit and protect those inside!
