Original Front Runner wind deflector

Hello, before I go and paint it up and fit it!!

Ive recently bought and restored a FR full length rack on my D4. It came with both the large deflector that drops down to the roof and the 2 piece job that seems to be standard supplied.

So I thought I use the full size one, cleaned, painted it and installed… but…

It does the job of deflection well, but SHMBO doesn’t like the look of it..and the more I look at it, Im kinda leaning that way too ( it reminds me of a icecream van tbh!)

So do the other ones work on the disco? I had one on the FLR2 and it was ok tbh

I'm still torn as to whether to fit one or not. I built my rack and straight away had the roof box on it, so I'm not sure how noisy it is yet. The way I've built it, it's really low profile so I may end up having to make one to fit. I do quite like the look of the FR one so I'd probably do something similar, full width but not as high.

Good luck with either option!
