Where to order a new D3 from? |
|
Any recommendations for where to order a new Disco3 from? It is looking like the local dealer wont be offering enough discount, so I was wondering if there were any online suppliers I should be trying? Matt

I think the current best way seems to be keep trying other dealers and eventually you will get a good deal.
Online, Broadspeed.com were doing good prices , I have just checked and it now says their prices are a secret Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Shop around, contact 5-6 local dealers within 100 miles and you will get a good deal. I have been successful recently and beat the online prices at broadspeed with a dealer 1 hour away.
I feel much happier with a dealer - if there are early probs or heaven forbid you have to reject the car then it is worth buying through a dealer.
I'm happy - dealer bought car, cheaper than online
Just stick at it! 2008.5 D3 HSE, Stornoway, Ebony

I've tried Broadspeed and their price is only £1,723 cheaper than list (on a £40,220) car. Oneswoop are cheaper, with a £2,600 saving. Matt

I tried my local LR dealer (Hartwells of Oxford) and told them I was interested in buying a new Disco 3 and already had a RRS from them, but they didn't call back today. You would of thought with a lead like that, somone would of called back within an hour or so. I bet they don't call tomorrow either.
I'm also looking at buying another new car (possibly a Mini or VW) and other dealers are sooooo much better. Matt

I used Autoebid.com at the begining of last year and saved over £3500 on an auto se spec ( and that was when the car was still very new to the market ) They are still showing a saving of £3,800 off the list price. If you either don't mind travelling anywhere in the country to pick up your vehicle or having it delivered to your door it is worth a look at. I would use them again to buy a new car ( especially to see the look on the face of my local dealer who originally laughed at the price I was quoted and then had to eat their greedy words ) Plus, once the deal is done via autoebid, you are then dealing with a uk dealership for what it's worth.

I got 8.6% off list from my local dealer on a 2.7TD HSE 2 weeks ago. When they had a problem sourcing the right vehicle another local dealer also offered the same discount when pushed. LR Discovery 3 2.7TD HSE
