D3 is two years old, TDV6, like a lot of cars made in 2005 it has had its fare share of problems, but to be fair all have been well taken care of by the dealer. But, do I sell the car now with 12 months of new car warranty to go for another D3 or keep it? Car is great as most of the time it is on the highway and it would be hard to find a more comfortable vehicle? I really like the car but do I want to keep it out of warranty? Please all opinions accepted.

Keep it! You can get a lot of repairs done for the money you will lose from financing a new D3 and the inevitable depreciation. If you want piece of mind get an extended warranty.

Keep it. Most of your problems should be sorted anyway.Besides, what else can you buy that will fill the gap if you get rid of the D3?
Mrs & I were having this discussion last week.
I have had more problems with my top-of-the-range BMW than I have with the D3
If we had to buy a new vehicle right now, there is nothing else but the D3. No other choice

The only really outstanding issue LR have with the D3 and RRS too I guess, is the crappy EPB if you venture anywhere near a muddy puddle off road.

What the others say, plus a new D3 now with the 3.0TDV6 or even a TDV8 in the pipe lines ? Wait a couple of years, extend the warranty. There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

I am in the same boat, and I am keeping her, besides all the mods, starting again would cost too much. All problems solved now, when warrenty runs out there are some mods to have fun with At the moment the LR gods may get upset
Your choice but for my money KEEP HER
