Opinion on front and rear light guards

What is nicer?

Just take only the front. What I think it is enough as I don't like particualrly the rear guards Or both as only the front alone would look unbalanced. The large on is monday back and I like to order the stuff definitiv.

Take both - it will be unbalanced otherwise. They also match the LR Driving Lights

Woohoo - 5000 posts Thumbs Up

Bow down Thumbs Up Well done, Steve Mr. Green

I've only got the fronts (at the moment). Don't think it's that unbalanced 'cos you can't see front and back at the same time Wink

To compromise, why don't you get an offside front & a nearside rear?

I had some light guards fitted to my '03 D2 but decided against when I upgraded to D3. I found they had many disadvantages;

-Looked good but made of brittle plastic so wouldn't do anything to actually protect lights
-It made the small job of washing bugs off the headlights a lengthy and 'swear inducing' exercise
-They produced some strange distracting shadows on the road from the headlights
-They completely blocked the path of the water jet from the headlight washers making them useless

Not sure if the D3 ones have had more thought put into them but if not save yourself the time and effort

Grow a moustache instead if you want to look mean!

Personal taste as ever, I like the front ones a lot but not the rears.

(That's light guards and not the dodgy lot above Embarassed )
