if you listen just after it lands the cameraman seems to say " Censored ".

I wonder if it's his car that he let his mate have a go in? Had someone do that to a RRC once and bent the chassis in the middle Evil or Very Mad

Might be why he puts the camera down straight away - to reach for a heavy object to use to explain to the driver his unhappiness! Laughing

Thats probably the maddest thing I have ever seen someone do in a LR

I know this is a bit nerdy but in acceleration up the dune I noticed black smoke coming from the exhaust, I thought they had a particulate filter? Under heavy acceleration mine never does this, and exhausts are spottless when I was cleaning by them

I can only guess from the location that the fuel they are using isn't the best and/or perhaps they've gone old skool and removed any "obstructions" from the exhaust such as cats, filters, silencers etc Laughing

My D3 doesn't seem to smoke too bad under load but if I floor our 10 plate F2 it lays a massive smokescreen behind it - I get embarrassed looking in the rear view when I pull out of junctions quickly Embarassed

what did he loose.

i can see the front left wheel arch came off but there is something bigger on the bottom right hand side behine the car. looks about the size of a wheel, but maybe its the plastic protector between the exhaust and spare wheel

having watched it again I wonder if its the front left wheel.......the final position of the wheel (or other large bit of car) is way off to the left of where the car touches down and I reckon it took the wheel arch with it when it let go.

If it were the spare it would be visible falling out and would be close to the line the car took, not several metres off to the side.

Shocked

I bet it's the spare....the front well landed straightish, not like it fell off. I circled the spare and drew the path. :D
