Can somebody explain to a simpleton what "betterment" is?
I looked on the site but couldn't see much that explained it.

Basically it suggests that the shiny new bits that WD are paying for are better than the (now broken) parts that were on your car. Therefore the condition and value (?) of the car is improved due to the shiny new bits. They always pay all the labour but betterment clause reduces the payout for parts by a percentage based on the age or mileage of the vehicle.
Getting the betterment clause removed is just case of asking before inception of the policy and then you get 100% of the parts paid for when claiming

I know their website states less than 120k miles and 12 years old but has anyone with more than 120k miles got WD to cover them.
My MY12 has a tad over 125k miles on the clock.

My £800 warranty that I took out in April has paid out about £2500 so far. Much love for warranty direct
The only thing they didn't pay was a split turbo hose. Otherwise I can't fault them at all. Highly recommended

I love WD
