How can you check or what has to be removed to check to find out what oil pump fitted

The fan and cowling, aux belt, the three aux belts pulleys, then the front cambelt cover to see if its the old type pump.
If you have no paperwork to say the pumps been changed, then your year of car definitely has the old style pump fitted.
