Thats actually a weep, when it leaves a puddle of oil on the floor then you can call it a leak

Underbody Oil Leak - What component is this?
Hi all, I've recently had the transfer box oil seals done and also a new suspension air pump. However, I noticed some oil on the drive today and don't know where it's coming from. It doesn't appear to be drive train related. What's this box that the pipe with the jubilee clips is going into?
I put a photo in the gallery. I took it from the rear on the rhs driver's side. The exhaust is on the left. I don't know what the pipe is that's covered in oil and what it goes into? Any help gratefully received.

Hi DN, thanks for reply. No, it’s a colourless and odourless light oil. I did brim it when i filled up yesterday although diesel usually stinks and lingers.
Is the rusty box with the cross on it the fuel tank then?

Is your brake fluid level good, if you’ve lost some, maybe it’s a corroded rear brake pipe ( common on older vehicles). The metal thing is a protection shield for the plastic fuel tank above.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. If it is that, I wouldn’t recommend driving it until it’s fixed . The pipes quite often corrode above the rear diff area, and leak onto, typically, the exhaust, and the ground, but yours does look a bit more widespread.
