oil leak - rear transmission

I've just noticed some oil drips on my drive coming from towards the rear of the car, in front of the rear wheels. (possibly rear differential ?).

I can just reach the drip with my finger and its definitely oil.

See pics below... any idea what this could be ? Am phoning dealer now to get it looked at.






 Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

Thanks CFB - I suspected as much

Local LR could not book me in for a month Evil or Very Mad so I have called LR assist to take a look. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

LR assist confirmed rear-diff oil leak. Advised not to drive and car will be recovered to dealers.

interesting contrast to "oh, you think your rear diff is leaking sir, let me book that in next month for you" Rolling Eyes
