| Oil coming from intercooler hose- greater turbo lag |

It Started a couple of months ago, and i noticed some shortage of power delivery, but it got worse. I took it to the dealer, he cleaned both ends of the hose and told me to come back i it gets worse. No fault code. The oil also shooted out of the intercooler hose onto the engine cover.
Dealer said it might be the turbine? Not sure about it, but it sounded costly.
Anything i can try?

The oil could just be due the recycling of exhaust fumes from the EGR system, so I would first make sure the intercooler pipe doesn't have a split in it and that all the clips are tightly done up before looking at replacing the Turbo unit.

Could be a split hose. You may not be able to find it as it may only open under boost pressure. Had hesitation under load/accelleration on mine for a while followed by clouds of black smoke later. I foundan obvious split in the hose.
I have done a temp fix with some steel pipe and rubber boot. Hesitation gone.

I asked for a quote with freight and they sent one straight away and I ordered it.
It left them an hour after ordering at 17.22 on Thursday, January 19 and it left Syney airport at 02.00 on Sunday, January 22 should be delivered tomorrow if not today.

would defo try changing the intercooler pipe first.. lot cheaper than a turbo!

Well, the dealer checked the hose(visually and partially, of course) and said its fine. But now he cannot be sure just by pressing on it,right? Ill order the hose, clean the MAP and see what will happen. Cross my fingers...
Btw, how much for a turbo? Parts i mean? Mabye ill order directlly from the UK. Thanks,
