Oh Yes - Ford have really gone and done it now!!

Jezza Clarkson's new Ford GT only went and broke down after 1 day (Top Gear) Razz

The immobiliser immobilised it, the tracker went off and they could'nt fix it, so after a two year wait for the car, they give him a Focus Diesel courtesy car!

Sounds familiar.

Sensational!

poor Jeremy... I'd have bought something a little more special than a Ford GT40 clone produced by product marketing cashing in on an icon.

Also his dealer must be pants... I always get a Landie as a courtesy car from Shukers.

I'm getting a Defender courtesy car on Monday/Tuesday next week Razz

Had a choice of a Freelander or Defender. Chose the Defender. Should be interesting.

Usually do the same... those things are fun to drive (if a little challenged on leg room in the front seat).

Interior of the face lifted Freelander is too suspect to get comfortable in.

JC's courtesy car isn't from the dealer, it is the same lot that offered me a Focus or Mondeo. Ford have a company that deal with courtesy cars when warranty work is going to take a long time. Interestingly enough he would have had to call LR assistance for help as they now do LR, Jag, Aston and Ford GT owners.

Simon, I won't have a problem with leg room - like others on the forum, I do struggle to reach the dipstick!

My loan car yesterday was a SEAT diesel something or other. No worries as it was only for a few hours, but being a newbe to 4x4 8 weeks in, going back to a "go kart" was a hoot !
..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........
