After putting up with a CD player that had difficulty ejecting CDs in my Td5, I was glad to be rid of the problem in my new D3 - or so I thought. Tried ejecting the 1st every CD last night and IT WON'T EJECT
Has anyone had this happen, and how do I get the CD out?
The unit can still play the CD, but says "disc error" when you press the eject button. Help.'06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

d3syd, pls forget my sage (or not so sage) advice on keeping the TD5, traded mine in on Thursday for a D3 S Auto for my wife. It is sooooooo much better!
Are they the same CDs that won't eject from the D2? Might be a CD problem??

Try loading all six then ejecting...this might do the trick...
.however there is a danger that none will eject but ..in a similar vein to Love ....'it is better to have tried six and lost all, than never to have tried six at all' 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Thanks JMC, I will keep pressing my eject button, failing that I will try removing the fuses as suggested in DiscoStu's message.
The CD that is stuck is an original, perhaps it is a bit too thick.
I would have expected that the unit should be able to handle such minor variances in the thickness of the discs. '06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE
