For those interested!

My new D3 launched onto the main build line at approx 11:30 am on Tuesday 5th September 2006. It had it's first drink of deisel at 10:18 pm and rolled off the end of the build line twenty minutes later. There were 3 minor faults.

i) A door apperture seal poor fit. Which was refitted no problem.

ii) The fuel flap wasn't fitted, a common fault and easily rectified.

iii) The CD player wires were not connected properly, causing an electrical test failure. The wires were re connected and the vehicle passed the electrical test at the second attempt.

Now allI need to do is check everything over.

11 hours to build a D3! Thats quite impressive (I think). Korean cars probably take a similar amount of minutes. That info you got was good, but its probably best most people cant get it or they would demand another car if the list was too long!
 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:
"Duratrac"

Always good to double check that the flaps are hung correctly Wink
