Off the shelf speaker upgrade? |
|
I have a single CD head unit which needs replacing, so im going to improve things with a double din JVC 7 inch touch screen DVD/bluetooth/CD/reversing camera screen. I thought it would also be a good time to upgrade the six standard speakers in my 2005 SE D3 also. I'm pretty sure i dont have the Harmon Kardon speakers as the tweeters have a Land Rover insignia on them.
Any tips for upgrading these speakers without spacers? Brands and prices appreciated.
Cheers 2005 D3 SE 4.4

You will probably need to make some spacers out of MDF as the holes will probably not match. 6.5 inch I think.
Speakers alone make a huge difference.

I have since the replaced the head unit (has blue teeth and can play from my phone, an i-pod, a USB stick aux in or my netbook via bluetooth) and have another sub woofer under the other seat. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
