Off road training

Hi all,

I have an 06 disco 3 and I am itching to go off road but want to do it safely!

I am looking for somewhere where I can receive training in how to drive off road and the key recovery techniques etc.

I live on canvey island Essex, so local would make sense

Other thank LR experiences ( are they any good?) is there anything else out there that would be recommended?

lre is a good start...don't go silly..if you go remote don't go alone..once you do it you will gain confidence..and the rest is adventure..make sure your insurance covers off road

Look at joining GLASS (Green Lane Association) some areas are more active than others but hopefully
you will get into contact with others who can show you how to go green laning safely and legally.

If you are interested I'll look up your local rep.

Have a look at the GLASS website http://www.glass-uk.org/ the site isn't very good (they keep saying that the new one is nearly ready Laughing ) but you can buy membership in the shop and once you're a member you get access to a lot more information. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home
