Numerous Faults after MAP Sensor after Cleaning

I cleaned my MAP sensor over the weekend now got HDC fault, EPB fault, Transmission fault, restricted performance - lowered suspension, only one gear 50MPH only. I did use WD 40 and carefully cleaned the hole by using a piece of wire finally blew it out with an air line. Could this have damaged it and caused all of these faults? Also is the car ok to drive in restricted performance mode?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you've horlicksed the MAP sensor.

That aside, If you have restricted performance etc. are you sure you put everything back properly? Easy to miss a connection, not tighten a hose, not circlip the throttle body on properly etc.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I used a cotton bud to clean the hole last year - new sensor required, suspect you've damaged it

only ever used the eye of a needle to fish gunk from the very tip of the sensor before, I would suggest though you have been a little too vigorous and will need a new one

Sad Sad
