None of course, other than its possible. Low range can be used for the self cleaning cycle of the DPF when no motorway is available. There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Thanks for the replies
Mmmm...
Definitely goes into 6th when in auto, but when in command shift I can't manually force it into 6th. When in 5th in CS and doing high revs, and I push it across to auto, there's an obvious rev drop as it goes up to 6th. However even taking it briefly to 4K revs in 5th in CS, I still can't push it into 6th...
Wonder if this could be a re-map issue, or an MY feature (I'm 06MY) - seems like it's obviously a software issue?
I'm not sure I'd ever need to force 6th in low ratio - would I? At that sort of speed it's too high to change up to high ratio anyway - so not sure of the point. When I tow, I often pull away in low, and then by the time I'm in about 3rd, I switch to high ratio.
If it is a fault, not sure it's one of those things where I'd want to be without the car for ages whilst it was fixed, unless of course it's an indication of a bigger problem, which I guess it's not if it's software related.
