I need some help with the installing of the factory nudge bar. The instructions are pretty vague and I have a little trepidation about drilling 2 large holes in my . The dealer wanted $460 to install it. I idi not pay that much more for the bar. Any help with more detailed instructions or a template would be great. Semper Fi

Hi Jarhead,
Why worry about a nudge bar, get a 'roo bar (probably called a bull bar in your country - I wonder why?).
Best Wishes,
Peter

There's a couple of threads there Jarhead that may help. There's another good one by Discowex but I can't find it. When you come to remove the wheel arches, you don't need to remove them completely. Just undo the screw as indicated in one of the pictorial threads above above and prise off ghe first one or two fastenings. saves a lot of heart ache. The holes in the plastic bumper are completely concealed by the A Bar. I did the whole job solo in 2.5 hours.
There's no need to completely disconnect the wiring and tubes from the plastic bumper as you remove it, just lower it on to a couple of blocks while you mount the brackets.
Good luck - Semper Fi!
