Now confused? MY11? MY12? MY14?
Ok, I was pretty confident that there was only 2 'models' *I know I don't mean models specifically* of the D4.
Pre Facelift (10-14) and Facelift (14-16)
Now I keep seeing MY11 and MY12 floating about so got really confused as to what years and models things were changed and what was exactly changed?
Any help would be appreciated!

Biggest difference from MY11 and MY12 is the gearbox, from the 6 speed with lever to the 8 speed with rotating knob.
Also the ICE has upgraded by MY2012 (from GEN2 to GEN2.1)

That's perfect thanks mate! Not real difference for me anyway, as in nothing will stop me going pre-dfacelift now!
Didn't want to go for a lower year (in my budget) and miss out on some huge new features or something!

I owned the MY11 HSELux and now I have a MY2014 XXV.
Cars are the same and, ok may be the 8 speed is better but they are both two excellent automatic transmissions.
GEN2.1 ICE is better on some side (you can upgrade the NAVI by USB), newest bluetooth SW, but I was happy with the GEN2 also (you need a bovee interface for music bluetooth streaming in this case, let me know what yuo'll buy, I have mine unused now, I want to sell).Discovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License

and with PowerfullUK Hybrid front grill you can have a similar 2014 front grill with few £.

Excellent thanks! I won't be buying until after new year as I need to clean out and sell on my BMW F30 3 Series, then purchase a D4, it hasn't stopped me purchasing parts I have the facelift grille and headlights already in the garage ready to go! So bumper and that's that bit sorted
