Nothing went wrong today..... |
|
as mentioned in other posts, majority only post on forums if there is a problem, so to combat that how's about " i had a trouble free day."
can also post mileage, time since last issue if at all.
this can show visitors to the site the number of owners that have trouble free motoring with their D3.
Or is that a bad idea??
so far, 1 week of ownership, all trouble free, SE 05 with 29k on the clock...

I think you'll find most here have no issues whatsoever with their D3's and then most of those that do only have minor problems any vehicle would have.
Very few have major issues... and TBTotallyH... forums are always full of horror stories by their very nature... they are generally set up as a self help solution... just we at dosco3.co.uk have become a place full of more non related to the vehicle threads than are related to the vehicle threads than most other manufacturer 'fan sites' can claim
Over 4 years I have only ever had one problem that was a big issue (1st D3)... and even that didn't stop me driving it. Was just a poorly seated ECU connector causing the suspension to error out. Fixed in a few minutes and I then had 90K miles of trouble free motoring.

D3 has been . Swmbo's RRS TDV8 on the other hand suffers from an incurable suspension knocking that LR insist is a 'characteristic' of the car - despite the fact that none of them do it when new......sorry had to vent lol.

Not at all... was just proving that only a few D3's are lemon's.
Funnily enough... just like most other products, most are good, and a few are bad but get all the attention.

OK - ting in the face of lady luck......
3 years, some offroad work, only 26K miles but nontheless essential family transport - zero faults.
Now the warranty is out, however............. I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already.

Coincidence - I just had a front side lamp go after a mere 3 1/2 years. Interested in joining a class action lawsuit? Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Nothing went wrong today, or yesterday, or day before that......infact (apart from a blown bulb last August) I've had no problems since a month after picking up the car in Aug 2006.

I've noticed that the fuel gauge has developed an alarming trend of showing less fuel the further i go . I have only managed to remedy the situation by adding more fuel . Has anybody else had this problem

I'm disappointed to report that mine has slowly become quite dirty. Yesterday I actually had to go out and clean it (First time since Nov 08.) It was getting very difficult to see out when driving towards the sun! Mr Muscle on the wheels and two buckets of washing up liquid and it comes up like new - but that's not the point - can't LR make a vehicle that stays clean in this day and age?
