Non-adaptiv Xenon re-adjusts when using Full Beam... Why? |
|
Good evening everyone,
I have got the following technical question: When my Xenon's are switched on and I use the Full Beam, it seems that the left-side Xenon re-adjusts up and then stays there for a little while (shining in people's faces ) until it 'decides' to re-adjust again.
I know that they automatically adjust when having heavy loads, etc., but why would they (or only one!) adjust when using full beam? And why wouldn't it go back down immediately after then.....?
I hope someone of you might know something or experiences the same.
Thanks guys... Have a nice evening!
Peter

tap the headlight then .
Giving it a thud / tap / bang whatever ...will at least prove its mechanical . Unfortunatly i dont belive there is a quick fix other than swapping the whole light unit ....not cheap G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks for that!
You were right, it's a mechnical error and even the slightest of touches (snipping finger nail against it) re-adjusts it...mmmhhh... Anyone any idea what can be done apart from changing the whole unit please?
Thanks everyone,
Peter

Lots of unnecessary quotes removed

Haha, no worries... Didn't win it anyway, it went for £67 and with this doubt (it being different year than described) I am not too upset...will try the WD40 first and then see if I buy again...
Any other suggestions in the meantime?
Thanks guys,
Peter
