Nokia CK7W , Steering Wheel Phone Tabs , ..........

Ive currently got the CK7W fitted in tandem with a harness that gives me phone -audio over the car speakers.

I also changed over the steering wheel for a one that came with all the bells and whistles attached, the other one was shagged.

Is it possible to have the wheel controls commmunicate with the CK7W ?

Or would I have to buy the LR aftermarket kit ?

Its not something Im champing to do , just curious.

I don't believe so. I'd stick with the Nokia kit, using voice tags and by careful placement of the Nokia button I find the ergonomics fine - and the result has more functionality than the std LR BT implementation, I actually have a cradle fitted down by the EPB switch to charge and talk to the phone (6230i) too.
 Cheers

...and I'm not even sure if the LR aftermarket kit uses the factory steering wheel switches like the factory phone kit does.

Only LR could come up with two seperate sets of electronics to do the same job that fit and work differently.... Rolling Eyes

Ta Simon , I thought as much.

Anyway between the CC buttons on one side of the wheel and the radio on the other , its more than enough switches than my little mind can cope with Very Happy

Besides isn't the LR aftermarket just a Nokia in disguise ?
