Noisy door

Anyone experienced a noisy offside rear door?

It's driving me mad!! it only happens over sharp bumps e.g a pothole, it almost sounds as if something is loose inside the door, or even the door being loose

Help is much appreciated

Er Yes!! I was only looking at that this morning. I could swear that there was a pen or something rolling around in the door bin, but could not find it.

If I get time this weekend, I will take the trim off and have a look. I'll bet its a screw dropped out of the lock. (Although my lock is still working OK)

Mine too - although I thought it was something in the door pocket.

Let us know if you find a culprit

Check the trim on the bottom of the door on the outside. It could be loose or clips could be broken.
There is a technical bulliten for the RRS on this. It seems to effect the passenger front door only. Our RRS trim was loose when we sold the car.

Gareth I should have said, I mentioned this to the LR dealer they couldn't hear the noise but removed the door panel as there is a comon problem where the door release cable comes free from the plastic retainers, you may want to check this on yours.
