No more shiny steering wheel
Over the years I’ve tried all sorts of potions and expensive products, none of which seemed to make a huge amount of difference. I’ve also tried the magic eraser “fix” to little effect.
Today I tried the cheapest of the lot (car detailers look away now)...Mr Muscle Daily Degreaser, with a microfibre cloth. I wouldn’t describe it as “good as new” but it’s a lot better.
Testing it on the back of the wheel first, I then did the whole wheel, finishing with a clean cloth and water. When it’s dry I’ll put Gliptone leather conditioner on it which will no doubt bring a little shine back, but as a cheap fix it’s worked nicely.
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Thank you, very interesting. I changed mine about seven years ago and for the past couple of years it's gone all shiny. I've wanted to get it back to a matt finish but have been unable to
