No more Dr tranny ๐๐
Just picked up the Disco after having the transmission out, new TC, oils, new pan and filter. Plus had the rear belt done at the same time. Wow! The difference is night and day. I canโt control my joy at the difference after 12 months of slight to bad judder. Sorry just had to share this. Have a good weekend everyone ๐

Great to hear. I'll be looking at getting this done soon, as I'm going to complete one more oil change + Dr Tranny, then bite the bullet.
Can I ask where you got it done?
Cheers

Judder on our d3 is awful now. Iโm tempted to chuck a tc in and see how it goes. Changes gear lovely and on 210k but Iโd say itโs had a box before.

Waste of money just having the TC done without having the GB input shafts and seals done!- sorry to say in 5k miles and youโll be back to square one
Itโs the gb shaft seals that make the tc clutches lose pressure and start slipping hence the judder, all that DrTranny does is make the rubber seals swell which makes them seal temporarily. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Tell me about it. Had the TC changed and 20k later the gearbox needed a complete refurb. Did that and the engine popped itโs clogs (excuse the pun) 3k miles later.
